The "Batidas" are a type of liquor typical of Brazil. In appearance it is a liqueur very similar to cream liqueurs, since they also incorporate milk cream into their mixture, but these liqueurs are complemented with some exotic fruits, the most used fruit is coconut, obtaining coconut shakes that have come to be an exceptional ingredient for many cocktails.
