In Canada produces a whiskey that is usually softer than other types of whiskey to be found in other regions of the world. Unlike other whiskey, Canada is widely used malted rye, to provide for smoothness and flavor whiskey, which is obtained by the so called "rye whiskey". The Canadian whiskey must be aged at least three years in oak barrels by law.
