The Marc de Cava is made with the lees that originate from the Cava disgorgement, that is, with all the solid parts that are not used to make the Cava. A type of brandy with a very mild 40º alcoholic strength is obtained, which is consumed in desserts as a digestif. This drink is similar to pomace, but instead of being made with the remains of the wine, it is made with the remains of cava and champagne.
