Conca de Barberá

It is in the province of Tarragona. Here you will find a large number of the so-called "cathedrals of wine" modernist-style wineries, built approximately between 1910 and 1920. The climate is mainly Mediterranean and the soils are brownish-limestone. The Parellada and Macabeo varieties are the most cultivated. They make mainly white, pale, bright, fruity and gently aromatic wines, and rosé, fresh and balanced. The reds, mostly young, are light and smooth.
