Chinchón

Chinchón is a type of anise produced in the town of Chinchón, Madrid. It is an alcoholic beverage from the distillation of the anise plant, macerated for half a day in wine and distilled in copper stills. Very popular in the past in Spain, when it was difficult to acquire other distilled drinks and in many towns their own drink was distilled.
