SOIL, VINES AND MAIN CHARACTERISTICS OF THEIR WINES. In general, clayey soils abound, poor in organic matter. The vine is planted on natural terraces and, as rainfall is very low, it is usually pruned very short so that it has creepers that take advantage of the moisture in the soil. Red grapes include Tempranillo, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Garnacha Tintorera and Syrah; among the whites the Garnacha Blanca, Macabeo and Perellada. Among the types of wine we have rancid wine, liqueur wine, mistela and traditional sweet wine. All of them are corporeal, aromatic and fruity.
